Juniper is perhaps best known as maker of security products, particularly High Capacity Firewall solutions as a reference in the field of information systems. Many customers that have an electronic system of another manufacturer entrust their security to Juniper because of its robustness and performance.
Two year ago, Juniper released to market its line of Ethernet Switches (Ethernet switching) with 3 models: the first one, the standalone model for small workgroups (EX3200), the second model (EX4200) from CPD’s to multiple Ethernet ports (500 ports), and the third model is a large rack carrier for telecommunication operators’ applications

The VERCOM choice to add Juniper into its products portfolio is not a coincidence, since Juniper supports the Avaya card IG550 Integrated Gateway witch is the Avaya IP PBX – Communication Manager, therefore combines the best of both worlds. In one way, the electronic switching network to three levels with a large number of interfaces ( Serial, T1/E1, FE, DS3/E3, ISDN, ADSL2/2+, G.SHDSL and Gigabit Ethernet) and on another way, the Avaya IP PBX with a capacity of up to 80 users (TGM550).
